Jan Adams, President & CEO of JMA  Solutions and Second Vice Chair of the  DC Chamber's Board of Directors, was  profiled in the Washington Business
Journal's popular feature series, "Then  and Now."

In the cover feature, Adams is hailed as  a trailblazer, community leader and
distinguished veteran who founded JMA solutions in 2005. Today, with more
than $32 million in revenue, Adams is recognized as one of the emerging

  • DC Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting featured in the Washington Informer. The meeting brought together more than 400 of Washington's business and community leaders to recognize its outgoing Board Chair, Carl Hairston, Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, City First Bank of DC and welcome its new Board Chair Marie Johns, Managing Member, Leftwich, LLC, and the full slate of 2017 board members.

    As Managing Member of Leftwich, LLC, Marie is responsible for the firm's daily operations and leads its work with private companies and associations, government agencies (local, state and Federal), nonprofits and educational institutions. She has held senior positions in the telecommunications industry retiring as President of Verizon Washington. Nominated by President Barack Obama and unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate, Marie served as Deputy Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration from 2010­-2013.
  • The Washington Business Journal recognized the DC Chamber of Commerce as a leader in the business community in its 2017 Book of Lists. The DC Chamber is ranked 3rd in the region among Chambers of Commerce. Generating nearly $2.89 million in revenue, the organization continues to thrive as one of the leading Chambers of Commerce in the Washington metropolitan region.
