His photographs have been published in national magazines including National Geographic Traveler, Forbes, the New York Daily News, Smithsonian, and Business Week. Since 2009, Noltner has been asking people the simple (or not so simple) question, "What does peace mean to you?" for a multimedia art project called A Peace of My MindThe Currier Lecture exhibit will feature photographs of the Columbus Academy community responding to the question: "What does courageous kindness mean to you?"

Sports News

In our school's 106-year history, only a handful of Columbus Academy's top basketball players have amassed 1,000 points during their high school careers. Senior Ryan Alexander joined those ranked among the best-ever when he surpassed the 1,000 mark by scoring 20 points in a huge 56-50 win at state-ranked Grandview last month! Also in January, our boys swimming team won the prestigious Northeast Classic in Canton and then joined the AquaVike girls in claiming Mid-State League titles for the third-straight year. In addition to having the Diver of the Meet (Esther Lawrence) and Swimmer of the Meet (Jacob Eismann), the Vikings set a school record (Audrey Grammel, 100 breast, 1:05.93) and broke five pool records along with eight meet records. And just this past weekend, our boys bowling squad achieved its best-ever result at the MSL Championships by finishing as the league runner-up. For his three-game series of 589, Nick Smith made the All-MSL first team while Jacob Taub (511) was second team and honorable mentions went to Tyler Whitt (470), Michael Reagan (460) and Hamza Kashubeck (415).
