Seasonal depress
ion is in full swing in February. It's not yet warm enough for outside activities and sunny days are limited. With that being said, it brings us to our question of the month:
How do you combat the winter blahs?
Barb - I try to get away someplace warm for a long weekend. I just got back from a few nights away with two long time friends. All we did was laugh. Very good for winter blahs.
Timmy - My annual early March trip to Pacific Beach California - my daughter moved there 5 years ago!
Lisa -
I don't really get the winter blues - I enjoy living in Maryland and getting a taste of all the seasons! One of my favorite things to do in the winter is curl up on the couch by the fireplace and catch up on a good book.
Karen E. -
I try and beat the winter blues by getting outside as much as I can by taking my dog for a walk, playing paddle or going on a hike. If that doesn't work, a great night out with friends for a drink and some laughs always cheers me up.
Karen B. -
I try to embrace activities that the winter brings, so our family enjoys going skiing a couple of times each season. However, it's also nice to have a warm weather trip to look forward to! We have planned a spring break trip to Club Med in Mexico, and on cold dreary days, I combat the winter blahs by thinking about the vacation and working on our itinerary!
Sarah - Head down to Charleston, SC! Having gone to college in South Carolina it's always been a happy place for me. A few of my friends still live there so I like to hop on a quick plane ride to see them and enjoy some southern hospitality!
Heather - I try to get outside as much as possible, especially on days where the sun is out and the weather is milder.
Welcome, Kamica!
We are delighted to announce Kamica as our spring 2017 intern! Kamica is currently a junior business communication major student at Stevenson University. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome!
How many days until spring? I hate winter and everything that goes along with it. But there is a silver lining to this month. February is the month of love, or so they say, and with all the love floating around I couldn't help but think about how amazing my team is. We had our company 'Cheers to the New Year' party at the end of January and I can honestly say it was one of the best nights EVER!
I am grateful to have a group of hardworking people by my side producing the best work for our clients. Not a day goes by without a little fun. Laughter is a staple in our office and that helps the winter seem less traumatic for me. Come on spring!!
