Volunteers Needed for SeaPerch Competition

What is the SeaPerch Competition?
Challenger and USAFA are working together to bring underwater robotics into secondary classrooms.  On the day of the competition, teams will arrive with pre-built SeaPerch robots.  They must navigate the robot through an underwater obstacle course and then they will be given a mystery challenge.  The mystery challenge will be announced on the competition day.  Teams will have to alter their SeaPerch build to solve the mystery challenge in the pool.

What Will the Volunteers Do?
Challenger will need volunteers to help us with a variety of activities .  Volunteers can help with checking in teams at the start of the day, running stopwatches during the competition, and judging the teams' performances. All volunteers will receive training, and a Challenger t-shirt.  We ask that volunteers be 18 years or older.

When is the Competition?
The competition takes place on Saturday, February 25th, at Coronado High School in Colorado Springs. Challenger needs volunteers throughout the day.  The morning shift runs from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.  The afternoon shift runs from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.  If a volunteer signs up for the full day Challenger will provide them with lunch.
