STANDARDAERO signed a new, exclusive, two-year partnership agreement with Johannesburg, South Africa-based Solenta Aviation Workshop Ltd., to provide a guaranteed LRU, MRO and exchange program to support Solenta's PT6A/PW100 engine operations. In addition, StandardAero was awarded a $45 million (CAD), four-year Royal Canadian Air Force propulsion system maintenance contract.

PRO STAR AVIATION obtained FAA approval for an amendment to STC -- Installation of Universal Antenna Mount and Lower Fuselage Radome -- applicable to Textron Aviation (Beechcraft, Hawker Beechcraft, Raytheon), B300 (Super King Air 350) and B300C (Super King Air 350C) airframes. The amendment makes the design of the STC more versatile and mission flexible, while improving overall system inspection methods and operations, according to the company.

GARMIN announced EASA approval of the G5 electronic flight instrument for installation in select certified fixed-wing general aviation aircraft in Europe.
