President's Open Forum, Today, 2 p.m.
In an effort to encourage communication and strengthen teamwork across campus, President Greg Schulz has scheduled a series of Open Forums. All faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to attend. Open Forums are held once a month at 2 p.m. A forum will take place today, Feb. 21, in Room 229.

Fullerton College students are encouraged to apply for the 10th annual Clinton Global Initiative University on October 13-15. The early application deadline is March 1. FC Vice President to Speak at Regional Outlook
Vice President of Student Services Dr. Gil Contreras, will be a guest speaker at this year's
North Orange County Regional Outlook event on Feb. 28. This regional outlook includes a panel with Contreras regarding the shifting trends in politics, housing, jobs and education in North Orange County.
Save the Date: Strategic Conversation "Pathways to Student Success"
Students, staff and administrators from Cypress College, Fullerton College, SCE and NOCCCD will come together in conversation around topics including guided student pathways, redesigning American colleges, student success support services and more. The event will be at 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. on April 25 in the Anaheim Campus Board Room.

Receive Financial Aid Assistance with Multiple Events This Week
Financial Aid Fridays are workshops offered by the Fullerton College Financial Aid Office to allow students
to "drop in" with their questions, complete a FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application, get help on verification,

African American Cultural Tour
The Cadena Cultural Center and Ethnic Studies Department invite students to a walking tour of
historic Leimert Park Village on Friday, Feb. 24 at 8 a.m. Participants will meet at the Cadena Cultural Center no later than 8 a.m. before boarding a bus to Leimert Park Village. A $5 cash deposit is required to RSVP and space is limited.
Proofread Like a Pro: Strategies to Improve Your Proofreading Skills
Basic Skills is hosting various Student Success Workshops during the spring. These workshops are open to all Fullerton College students, in any discipline, and are facilitated by graduate students in the Basic Skills Graduate Student Mentorship Program. Educators Night is an equivalent to a College Fair event, but it is also for students who have aspirations of becoming a teacher. Men's Basketball
Winning the Orange Empire Conference with a 11-1 record since 2009, the Fullerton College Hornets reaped the top honors in the All-OEC selection. Hornet sophomore guard, Ian Fox, was named the Most Valuable Player, while Head Coach Perry Webster was named the Coach of the Year in just his second season at the helm. In all, the Hornets have won a total of 28 conference championships.

Women's Basketball
The Hornets went down to Saddleback College on Thursday night and took care of business beating the Gauchos 62-59 in overtime. Just like their first meeting this season, Fullerton and Saddleback went down to the wire battling it out in overtime. Fullerton took the home-loss on that one 75-73. The difference on Thursday was that FC played another complete and passionate game for the win. The Hornets finished the season with an overall record of 12-16 and an Orange Empire Conference record of 4-8.

Men's Volleyball
The Hornets hit the road on Friday to battle the rain and Grossmont College. They won on both fronts beating the weather and the Griffins 3-1 (26-24, 25-16, 21-25, 25-23) in a Orange Empire Conference cross-over match.
Up Next: Fullerton (4-3 overall) will head back down to the San Diego area to take on Miramar on Wednesday, March 1 at 6 p.m.
Softball
The Hornet softball squad took 7-0 loss in the Orange Empire Conference opener against Riverside City College at home Wednesday afternoon. Up Next: The Hornets (4-1 overall, 1-0 conference) will take on Antelope Valley College in Lancaster today at 3 p.m.
Baseball
The Hornets hosted Cerritos College on Thursday and managed a 6-3 win over the Falcons. Up Next: The Hornets (7-3 overall) will play at the College of the Canyons today at 2 p.m.
