Under Construction 
Min No Aya Win Human Service Center
CLOQUET, MINNESOTA
Meyer Group Architecture is working with Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa to expand their clinic and parking area. Overall project addition increase includes over 26,000 SF. Three major departments are able expand - including Behavioral Health, Social Services and Medical. Medical department growth includes a new nurse's station, an expanded laboratory department and new exam rooms. The behavioral health department will feature a brand new conference room, therapist offices, offices for additional staff as well as specialized areas for treatment and staff. Additionally, the project includes additional entrance with reception area and sub waiting for clients, patients and guests. A dedicated area for social services is located on the lower level, allowing for increased privacy and space for clients and staff. Organizational needs and long term goals were met and exceeded by the project by creating a large conference room for multi-use purposes- including training and meetings, in addition to a newly created and expanded break room for staff. Additional project scope includes a dental renovation and expansion of several laboratories, offices, multi-purpose room and a coatroom for staff.




Waaswaaganing Living Arts & Cultural Center 
LAC DU FLAMBEAU, WISCONSIN
Meyer Group Architecture was selected to design Lac du Flambeau Lake Superior Chippewa Indian's new Culture Center and Living Arts center. The new building will replace their former Indian Bowl Amphitheater facility, a well known area landmark. The new facility shall possess a new Pow Wow Grounds, Art Center, Art Education classroom space, additional museum facilities and public facilities supporting the amphitheater. The new facility will also be utilized by Lake of the Torches Casino for outdoor Music performances.





Leech Lake Elder Care Facility 
CASS LAKE, MINNESOTA
Meyer Group was hired by The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe to develop 32 units of assisted living for their elders. The 32 units include a full continuum of senior living including assisted living, skilled care, hospice, and adult and elder rehabilitation. A warm earth tone palette with rich accent colors was selected to complement the surrounding environment while creating a cozy, home-like atmosphere. Materials were selected based on durability and functionality while maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere.




Lac Courte Oreilles Housing Authority Projects 
HAYWARD, WISCONSIN 
Meyer Group Architecture provided support for a variety of projects with the Lac Courte Oreilles Housing Authority. We were involved with: Imminent Threat Project, which was to install Owner furnished battery back-up sump pumps in approximately 207 homes, furnished and install basement crack sealant in approximately 247 homes. The Mold Remediation Project, was moderate to extensive rehabilitation of 53 homes scattered throughout the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation. The Lac Courte Oreilles Housing Authority received a technical assistance grant - Self-Help Housing Project - to supervise ten low income families in the construction of their own homes. The families are inexperienced in construction so plans were made to be easily followed and easily built. The Streetlight at Water Tower was to assist in installation of streetlights in the Water Tower Community with plans and specifications provided from the Bureau of Indian Affairs Roads Division. The Energy Upgrades Project consisted of residential energy modernization and renovation to the Scattered Site Houses.

Mille Lacs District II - Pow Wow Grounds
MCGREGOR, MINNESOTA
The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Band selected Meyer Group to design their new Pow Wow Grounds located just south of McGregor, Minnesota. Meyer Group was the lead on the design of this site, from initial concepts through final documentation and construction administration. The culturally-meaningful design features a multi-phased project to create a comprehensive meeting facility featuring circular stadium seating around the central Pow Wow performance area, arbors, Emcee/Calling stand, Shower and RV camping and tenting facilities, and comprehensive phasing for program development that complements and supports the larger site design and use. The Meyer Group Team worked directly with the Band to ensure the design directly represented their vision and goals for the site, while still maintaining budgetary constraints.




Lac Courte Oreilles Boys & Girls Club
HAYWARD, WISCONSIN 
Lac Courte Oreilles Boys and Girls Club broke ground this Spring on the new Boys and Girls Club Addition and Renovation project. Meyer Group Architecture provided Fundraising, Architecture, Interior Design and Project Management assistance on the project. The new addition and renovated existing facility shall provide new administrative and control areas, a Demonstration Kitchen, Outdoor Classroom Area, new Program Areas and upgrade interior finishes. The project also includes addition of acoustical treatment and a new garage to house the Clubs vehicles and maintenance equipment. The project is being constructed by LCO Development, the Band's own construction company, performing work in a Design/Build relationship with Meyer Group Architecture.
