National spots include American Express, American Greeting Cards, Pittsburgh Paints, Pepsi, Levi Jeans, Clairol, McDonald's, Bruegger's Bagels, Virginia Lottery, Pennsylvania and New Jersey Lotteries, websites, computer games (including
Werewolf Woman), museum kiosks, and many hospitals all over the country (including Children's, Mercy, Allegheny and Magee Hospitals in Pittsburgh). Giant Eagle, Foodland, Roomful Express, GNC, and Dicks Sporting Goods, to name a few. Amy, a member of SAG/AFTRA and Actors Equity, has guest lectured at CMU, Point Park, Hunter College, CCAC and NYU.

Learn voice acting from a professional who makes a living performing, producing and directing voice-overs. Whether you're a voice-over novice, a radio announcer who's stuck in a rut, or an experienced visual actor who wants to expand your skills into voice acting, this class will teach you the nuts and bolts of the business. Topics will include: script analysis, character development, the voice actors' union, casting directors, talent agents, auditioning, marketing yourself, and home studios. Everyone will get mic time!

Audiobook Narration - 1-Day Intensive Workshop
This Saturday, Feb. 11th
10am-5pm
For this workshop, you will spend time on the mic working on different styles of audiobook narration. In addition, we will cover how to directly contact publishers, best time management practices and testing your work environment for a truly "quiet room tone."
$150, lunch included. Payment plans accepted.

- Niches- including animation, commercial, and audiobooks
- Auditioning and editing from your home studio
- How to bring your text to life
- Demystifying demo reels
- A fun and easy approach to creating character voices
- The ever-changing business of voice-over

Voice-over II: 6-week class Thursdays, starting March 2nd, 7-9:30pm
Great workshop for students with some experience who want to learn more. We will continue to work on personalization, good/thing bad/thing, lists and more techniques, but we will focus on advanced copy including long-form narration, medical narration, audiobook work, animation scenes and challenging video game characters.
We recommend you take Beginning VO or our VO Toolbox Workshop before taking this class. However, if you have some experience, contact us and it may be a good fit.
It's an intense hands-on class and you will take away skills you can use right away.
