Art Jewelry Forum had some amazing milestones as the calendar turned this year--the organization entered its  20th  year in January; the founder of the organization, Susan Cummins, celebrated her 70th birthday, and the executive director, Rebekah Frank, who had altogether forgotten about her birthday, was surprised by arrival of her 40th--all in the space of a few days!

Around the same time, some people contacted us about making donations to honor birthdays and loved ones. It caused AJF to realize that making a donation to a nonprofit can be an incredibly personal and intimate experience--a way to recognize important milestones. Now, with a new feature we've just implemented, you can now  dedicate a donation in honor or in memory of someone important to you. 

With Valentine's day coming up, this is a great way to share your interest in art jewelry with a loved one. Other possibilities are to recognize the importance of a past mentor, to encourage your favorite young jewelry maker, or to celebrate the important milestones of your life of in the jewelry world.
