Dear Parents and Guardians,

Lake Forest High School is committed to continually reviewing and improving our school, but we cannot do this without you! A comprehensive climate survey has been designed to assess perceptions of the environment within the school, including safety, relationships and support for learning.

The National School Climate Center (NSCC), a national leader in school surveys and data analysis developed the survey. It should take approximately 20 minutes to complete and will be given to all parents and school personnel (9-12). All students in grades 9-12 will take a student version of the survey at school.

Please complete the parent survey by no later than Friday, February 24.
The survey is available to parents in both English and Spanish. Your feedback is important to help us understand and improve our schools. All responses are anonymous.

NSCC will compile all of the results and conduct a thorough data analysis, after which they will send us a detailed report.  These findings will be analyzed by the district and schools' leadership teams and will be used to inform future planning initiatives.  We will share the results with you once all the information has been received.

We hope you will join us in this effort to make our schools an even better place to learn.

Sincerely,

Michael V. Simeck
