Everyone can participate in making this year's South Beach gala a big success. Please bring in an item or gift certificate that relates to your grade level's Gala basket theme. The assembled items will be packaged and available for bid during the silent auction portion of the South Beach event on April 8th. If you don't know what to donate, you can always give a gift certificate (PreK is asking for exclusively gift certificates). This Week in Pictures

Mr. Grossman's Pre-Calculus class used spaghetti, string, and paper to understand how sine waves are created. Students took turns working through the project - from drawing a circle with marks every 15 degrees to measuring and plotting the wave on an axis. This is a prime example of how experiential education can be used in the classroom to give relevance and depth of understanding to difficult concepts.
