Administration charts new course
for solar incentives

Solar energy traders would be about the only ones losing out under the Baker administration's proposed new plan for incentivizing the solar industry, according to state officials who say the plan will benefit solar developers, solar investors and utility ratepayers. Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs Matt Beaton said that the new solar incentive program would cut in half the roughly $400 to $500 million annual cost of solar incentives in the state while adding reliable revenue for developers and investors in solar projects. Convention Data Services signs Plastics Industry Association as new client
The Plastics Industry Association has selected Convention Data Services as its new trusted registration partner. Cape Cod's triathlons return to local ownership
Three of the sport of triathlon's oldest continually operated races - all held annually on Cape Cod - have been acquired by New England Endurance Events, based in Orleans. The Hyannis Sprint 1 Triathlon, started in 1981 and held annually in June; the Falmouth Triathlon, started in 1992 and held each July; and the Hyannis 2 Sprint Triathlon, started in 1983 and held in September are three of New England's most popular endurance events. The seller was Without Limits Productions, based in Boulder, Colorado, which had operated the races for the past five years. Read more here.

The worst bosses I have known

It's only fair to begin this list of struggling managers by implicating myself. There have been moments in my career - I shudder to remember these incidents - when it was me who was the worst boss I knew. There were the times when I lost my temper, and there were the moments when I lacked the courage to speak truth to power.
