Fall Photo Contest Winner & Runners Up

Contest Winner - Laura
In October of last year, we held a Fall Photo Contest . The photos submitted were all so wonderful and included a variety of fall scenes from across the province.

Laura's photo (see image right) of her family ride at Milne Dam Conservation Area in York Region  was selected as the winner. We were pleased to present her with a MEC gift certificate and include her photo on page 14 of this year's Cycling in Ontario guide.

Runners up included an image submitted by Nancy riding in Pretty River Valley, near Collingwood and a pick from the Oshawa Cycling Club at the Royal Military College on Kingston, adjacent to Fort Henry.

Honourable mention, because it was so cute and creative (and so Canadian), was a picture of bronze beavers outside the Robert McLaughlin Gallery in Oshawa, practising safe cycling!

Thanks to all who submitted!
Be sure to "Like" our Facebook Page to receive notices of future contests!
