Whether or not your team won the big game last night, Abingdon is going to celebrate a big win this week when the
new cafeteria opens!!!
I stopped in for a sneak peak and it looks fantastic!
The students had a tour of the new space last week and were able to spend a few minutes trying to find their tiles in the beautiful new art installation.
The new cafeteria features two serving lines that should reduce the wait to buy lunch, a new hand-washing area, and flexible seating options.
Can't wait to check out the new cafeteria? Then, plan now to attend the PTA Movie Night scheduled for this Friday! We will be showing Ice Age Collision Course. The doors will open at 6:00 pm and the movie will start at 6:30 pm. We will be selling pizza, water, fruit, candy and popcorn, so bring your pillows and blankets and join us for a night at the movies! We will also be selling spirit gear!
We are still looking for a few more volunteers to help with food sales at the Movie Night. To volunteer, please contact Rebecca Kim, the PTA Volunteer Coordinator.
