February is here! The first month of 2017 is over. Crazy to think that just a month ago we celebrated the holidays! For me, the overall concept of time is moving very quickly, yet some days are dragging beyond belief. This is compounded by the collective energy on the planet, and especially in the United States. So much has happened over the last couple of months, and the energy in the ethers is reflecting that.

What does this all mean for you? It's possible you might feel the angst and uncertainty in the air, not because you are feeling it for yourself, but because many of your fellow earth travelers are releasing their emotions into the energy fields around them. It is important to remember we are ALL connected, so what your neighbor feels, you feel in a small way. When an entire group of the population feels something, that becomes an energy imprint in the energy field, and those of us who may not have any interest or awareness of what is happening to that group suddenly feel that energy and must respond accordingly.

Do you notice the drivers on the road are not as aware? People who are normally very rational become agitated quickly for what appears to be no reason? Physical symptoms appear out of "no where"? These are all signs you and the world around you are changing energetically.

Your job right now is be aware of what is in your energetic field, dump what is not yours or what you might be taking on from the collective, and set your intention for what you will and will not allow around you. Your job is also to not freak out with everything that appears to be happening around you (notice I said "appears"), and to focus on what is positive in your life right now.

You can still be connected to those around you and the issues others are facing without taking that energy as your own!

I am a huge proponent for the "teach a man to fish" concept, and understand that might feel very overwhelming in our current environment.
