We are currently accepting re-enrollment paperwork and applications for the Bishop's Scholarship.  We ask that all families return their forms as soon as possible.  After Thursday we will be enrolling new students and will not be able to guarantee spaces for current students not reenrolled. If you do not have your forms please call the main office.

We celebrated the 100th day of school on Friday!  Students and faculty dressed as if they were 100 years old.  As I walked around the school, I found the following happening.

Prekindergarten students were  studying d ental hygiene with a presentation by DeJesus Dental. They were in the middle of a STEAM project with eggs to understand what happens to our teeth if we drink soda or water.  They were also studying the letter L and had a lemonade stand to raise money for their classroom.

Kindergarten students were involved in  completing 100 exercises throughout their day and writing about 100! They also heard about keeping their teeth healthy.

1st graders were in an Envisions math lesson counting by different patterns to 120 - by 2's, 5's, 10's.

2nd graders were writing '100 things about us'. In mathematics they were learning about Fahrenheit and Celsius.

3rd graders were completing a science STEM activity about flotation connected to their study of the Titanic.

4th grade students were taking a spelling and religion test.

In Art classes students we involved in a service project making Valentine's cards for the elderly.

5th graders  were in the middle of an interdisciplinary quiz  with technology and religion. Their quiz involved typing on Chrome books about something they love. Three paragraphs were required including a picture.

6th graders were in an Envisions math lesson working on long division.

7th graders were in religion preparing for the journey of Lent.

8th graders were in history studying the beginnings of labor unions and improvements in work conditions and worker's rights.

We ended the day with a Sweetheart Dance!
