During the Experiential Site Visits participants will:

Get a first-hand look at the Linked Learning components in action including the academic and career technical integration, the role and use of work-based learning and how students receive the supports needed
Analyze the learning and teaching in a Linked Learning environment for how it includes project-based instruction and an interdisciplinary approach
Understand how work-based learning compliments the instruction
Gain perspective from students on successes and challenges
Observe the culture of the school and understand it’s unifying nature
Understand how the culture is maintained
Understand how special education and second language learners are accommodated
Observe the d-school influence and how it creates a collaborative work environment
Reflect on how the school can help influence their school upon returning home

10:10-10:40 Project Overview
10:40-11:20 Tour / Classroom Visits
11:20-12:45 Culture / School-to-Career
12:46-1:16 Lunch with Staff and Scholars
1:16-2:00 Debrief
2:00-3:00 Departure from Del Lago
