Ramping up its diplomatic profile in Washington, DC, the Indian embassy hosted a reception for more than 25 US governors during the National Governors Association (NGA) Winter Meeting.
Virginia Governor and NGA Chairman Terry McAuliffe described the event as "the largest gathering of governors" and how the Indian embassy was a fitting place to celebrate.
India made history last month by successfully launching 104 satellites on a single mission, overtaking the previous record of 37 satellites launched by Russia in 2014.
