Dear Parents,

The Gospel Value for March is Compassion to "have deep awareness and sympathy for another's suffering, the humane quality of understanding the suffering of others and wanting to do something about it."  For us to show Compassion and love for our neighbor and each other is truly how God wants for us to live our lives.

We all have our own human sufferings.  Whether it is the loss of a loved one, an illness, or something personal. To be on the receiving end of Compassion, when it is shown to us is a special gift from God. For us to give Compassion to those who are in need of it is also a wonderful gift.

As it has been said by Jesus that whatever we do for the least of our brothers we do for Him. When we live by the Gospel Values and spread Compassion to those we meet and in need, we are showing Compassion for our God. These acts of love help us on our path to Heaven.

Quote from Pope Francis:

"The measure of the greatness of a society is found   in the way it treats those most in need."

Faithfully yours,

Miss Giaquinto
