Why Vacation Bible School?
July 17th-21st, 9am -noon
VBS offers a fun and creative venue for teaching Christ-like values, building a biblical foundation, and reaching out to our neighbors. The entire congregation can get involved! Adults can decorate, teach, lead rotations, shepherd children, prepare food, invite neighbors, help with registration, and pray.

VBS is an invaluable opportunity to teach children about Jesus's love and with the Hero Central curriculum help them discover their strength in God.   I hope you will join us this summer!

July 17-21st  9am -noon for Hero Central VBS
(or for decorating the week before)
Email or talk with Kim Jewett to volunteer.
Sunday Morning Adult Education
Difficult Teachings of Jesus, Feb 26 - March 12, 9:15am, A-B classroom
The Growing in Faith Class continues its series on the more difficult teachings of Jesus.  It is easy to skip over these passages, but could it be that an improved understanding of them will help us to deal with difficulties in our own lives when they arise?  Come, let's study them together and find out! Meets during the CE Hour on Sunday mornings.

Faith at Home , March 5 - April 2,  Sundays at 9:15am, Fireside Room
Are you curious about ways to take your faith out of Sunday morning and into the rest of your life?  Are you interested in passing Christianity on to your kids, but aren't quite sure how?  Guided by Wendy Claire Barrie's book, "Faith at Home: A Handbook for Cautiously Christian Parents," we will explore ideas, brainstorm and get practical advice for lots of different ways we can live our faith at home.  (No, you don't have to read the book!) Just come and join us for an exciting exploration and good conversation.  Led by Rosemary Sixbey.
Monday Morning Women's Bible Study
The Monday Women's Bible Study Class meets in the Fireside Room at 10:00am. On February 27 we will conclude our study "God Speaks Your Love Language", led by Marla Briggs.

Beginning March 6 Halie Dodrill will facilitate a series entitled "Could This Be Jesus," where we will explore the possibility of active involvement of Jesus in the lives of people in the Old Testament.  You are most welcome to join us in this exploratory study of scripture.  What a wonderful way to begin your week with the Lord.  For questions contact Halie Dodrill at 206 236-0067 or e-mail :   halie@dodrill.net
Sanctuary Flowers
The gardens have gone quiet for their winter rest; however, the desire for the visual warmth generated by flowers to grace our sanctuary continues and perhaps is enlarged with the darker days of winter. Please consider
offering a floral arrangement to honor a special occasion or just because you love what flowers do for our spirits. Sign up in the office or
contact Marilee.Ahalt@gmail.com and she will help you make it happen.
Tuesday Morning Men's Bible Study
We meet on Tuesdays at 7:00am in the Courtyard. Please contact Tim Hamp for more information (tnt@tvhkeys.com) .
