Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper
The youth of St. Luke's will be hosting a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on February 28 from
6:00 - 7:30 PM in Board Hall. Tickets are available for purchase.  Tickets are also available for purchase at the church office.

The price per ticket will be $7 per individual or $20 per family with all proceeds going toward funding the youth's July mission trip to North Carolina where they will assist in repairing homes damaged in the recent hurricane.

The supper will have a Mardi Gras theme, and we will be crowning a king and queen! Children under 12 eat free.  Please plan to join us for fun, entertainment, good food and fellowship!

Ash Wednesday Services
On Ash Wednesday, March 1, we will begin our holy observance of Lent with three opportunities to receive The Imposition of Ashes & Holy Communion - at 7am, 12noon, and 6pm.

Teaching Series
Beginning the first Sunday of Lent, Rev. Shelley will be facilitating a five-part teaching series authored by Barbara Cawthorne Crafton entitled
'Embracing Forgiveness' What it is and what it isn't.
Each lesson will include a DVD presentation followed by group discussion.

The lessons will be offered during the Adult Faith Formation hour from 9:05-9:45 AM on Sundays, and also following the 5:30 PM Saturday night worship service. Please contact the church office for more information.

Lenten Soup
On Wednesday, March 29, The Daughters of the King will be providing soup and bread followed with Stations of the Cross led by Fr. Michael.

The soup will be served after the 6:00 pm Wednesday Eucharist and then Stations of the Cross will follow.  We invite you to join us for this special gathering during lent.

Sign up sheets will be available in both narthexes.

St. Luke's Annual Silver Tea
The Annual Silver Tea will now be on Sunday, MARCH 19, in Board Hall, following the 10:00am service.   St. Luke's has hosted the Silver Tea for over 40 years. Donations support Home of the Innocents which provides shelter and care for children who are without support when their families are in trouble. A representative for the Home will speak at the Tea.

This year's Tea reception will feature tea, coffee, wine, etc. and finger foods. Anyone who can donate, please bring finger foods to Board Hall. If you need child care, please contact the church office in advance and we will gladly provide it. Come enjoy the fellowship and participate in outreach.

In 2011, St. Luke's received the Childfriend of the Year award from Home of the Innocents for all the support we have given them over these many years. Let's generously support the Home again this year!

St. Luke's Silver Tea Committee:
