This past week CROI (Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections) was held in Seattle. Policy

CDC HIV Incidence Report: The number of annual HIV infections in the US fell 18% between 2008 and 2014 according to a recent report from the CDC, demonstrating the effectiveness of high-impact HIV prevention strategies and warranting their continuation. Progress was not the same among all populations or areas of the country, however. Significant disparities were found in the south and among black and latino men who have sex with men indicating a need for increased and focused attention to areas and populations most affected.
