The Lake County Winery Association is excited to announce our first annual
Thirteen participating wineries will provide a
behind-the-scenes glimpse of wine aging at its finest.
If you haven't yet purchased your Barrels & Verticals tickets, save money and time by purchasing here! Ticket pre-sales end on 11:59 PM, Friday, February 24, 2017.

Wet Weather Tips!
Although Clear Lake is officially flooding, most tasting rooms and wineries are NOT affected by this. Caltrans, County and City crews have been doing an excellent job keeping our roads open and safe. But we still suggest you check road conditions Saturday morning.

Fun Times at Participating Wineries!

Cache Creek Vineyards & Winery is pouring a vertical flight of five vintages of Cabernet Sauvignon - 2009 through 2013.  Pairings with the flight include steak bites and chocolate!

Buy the whole flight at 15% off or a case at 25% off!

Fults Family Vineyards will be hosting a representative from Canton Cooperage - Masters of American Oak Barrels, to answer any questions you may have about the role barrels play in aging wine. This family owned boutique winery will be thieving a few different varietals throughout the tasting event.

Gregory Graham will pull from his library and pour a six year vertical of his Crimson Hill Syrah, starting with the inaugural 2004 vintage. He will also include a surprise wine which he created only for the 2005 vintage.

A limited amount of each wine will be available for purchase. Hor d'oeuvres will be provided.

Laujor Estate Winery will be thieving from their Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon barrels and providing some delicious pairings.

Laujor offers stunning vistas of Lake County. Come out and enjoy the scenery, great barrel tastings, and maybe you can get a glimpse of Laujor's nearly completed wine cave too!

Langtry Estate & Vineyards will be doing vertical tasting of their '05, '06, & '07 Petite Sirah and their '11, '12, & '13 Cabernet.

Langtry Estate & Vineyards' rich history dates back to 1888 when British actress Lillie Langtry purchased a vast Lake County property to serve as home for her winery. Today, the 23,000-acre estate remains a pristine parkland of lush vineyards, oak-studded savannahs, rolling grasslands, high ridges, hidden valleys, clear lakes, bubbling streams and sweeping panoramic views.

Enjoy some delicious wine, while enjoying some delicious history!

Moore Family Winery sits on a stunning 120-acre property that includes a Mediterranean style event room, vineyards and wine caves, two beautiful ponds, and sweeping views of Cobb Mountain and the Mayacama Mountain range.

The views will be as wonderful as the barrel tasting.

Olof Cellars will be providing barrel tasting from three varietals:

Petite Verdot - on French Oak/medium toast from Radoux barrel company.
Only one barrel made.

Malbec- on French Oak/ medium toast spiral infusion.

Barbera- on new Eastern European Oak/medium toast.

These wines have been in the barrels for 3.5 years.

Six Sigma Ranch, Vineyard & Winery will be pouring a three-vintage vertical of their Marianne's Reserve, Syrah - a powerful, berry forward delicious Syrah.

This is a wine club only wine, so is not available in stores or on their website, and is rarely poured in the tasting room. It's grown on the property and is all Estate.

Smiling Dogs Ranch will be offering futures, by the case on the three wines featured in their barrel tasting: Tempranillo, BraZen estate (Barbera & Zinfandel), and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Barrel tasting will be held at the ranch, not the tasting room.
The address is 6675 Kelsey Creek Drive, Kelseyville, CA.

Option to reserve a case at 20% off, or 30% with wine club membership. Wines to be released at pickup party,  May 2018.

Jed Steele has personally selected two incredible barrels of some of his best lots of wines to feature, and for the first time in the 25 year history of Steele Wines, they will be offering futures on these wines.

Futures offer you the chance to purchase wine now and then return to the winery when the wine is bottled, typically 12-18 months from now.

Stonehouse Cellars will be showcasing to the public, for the very first time ever, their Estate Reserve Cabernet wines from the past three years.

In 1979, the first eight-acre vineyard planted at Pomo Ranch at Stonehouse Cellars was the result of vines propagated from the Fay Vineyard in the Stag's Leap AVA of Napa Valley. T It is believed that Block 1 at the Pomo Ranch at Stonehouse Cellars is the last remaining remnant of the Fay Vineyard, still on its own ungrafted roots.

Thorn Hill Vineyards' tasting room is a  Mediterranean-inspired haven of fountains, travertine patios, stained glass windows, stone fireplaces, ponds and gardens - and is conveniently located right off of Highway 29.

They will be pairing chocolate with their barrel tasting of their 2016 Petite Sirah.

Wildhurst Vineyards' Tasting Room is located on Main Street in the heart of Kelseyville - a quaint and quintessential American small town. Stop by for the barrel tasting and get a sneak peek of their newly decorated tasting room.

Tasting rooms at all Lake County wineries will be open to our visitors on Saturday, February 25, 2017.

You can find a complete list of them on our website
