Greetings Dear Spiritual Family!

I was speaking with a good friend the other day about the health challenges her teenager is going through, and how the holistic community is getting all fundamental on her (my words) telling her all the reasons why: "it's her karma", "her daughters karma" - "EFT is the ONLY way to cure it", or "Lasers are the ONLY way to cure it" 

REALLY?!!
 
What is it I always say - when someone says it's the ONLY way - RUN!

What do we do in these situations, when the experience of an innocent - and let's face it, when bad stuff happens, we all feel innocent - when the experience of an innocent is hard, painful and just beyond our comprehension?

Well, first, I believe that we let go of all judgments.

The, when you engage and commit to your spiritual life - shift happens!  Doors open, and miracles become daily occurrences until they are just a part of your everyday life - normal instead of miraculous.

The Eight Steps of the Life Visioning Process are given in the order they are to be practiced.

1. Find a quiet location and, for least fifteen minutes, meditate to calm your thoughts, sensitize your awareness, and activate your intuitive faculty. Youth Programs and Infant Care
We would like to ask those parents who have infants and toddlers to volunteer to watch over our young ones during service.  Please contact our Board President, Ms. Amanda Moberly, if you would like to help us with this important volunteer opportunity!

All volunteers on Sundays will receive a complimentary copy of the Service message and meditation.

Audio/Visual Committee
As we continue to reach out to our community of like-minded souls, inquiries continue to come in about when we will be streaming our services.  And so, I would like to reach out to you in helping make this happen!  We also would like to get our services on TV and YouTube, so if you have experience in this area, please contact Rev. than you ever thought you could be - while making a difference in the world.

Classes in the foundations of New Thought, Affirmative Prayer, Healing as a Spiritual Art, the basics of the Ageless Wisdom Teachings and The Laws of Manifestation are beginning in April, May and June. A separate email will be sent out as soon as specific classes are ready to go.  There will be daytime, evening and teleclasses scheduled!

Meet Our Members
March 2017
We have a number of dedicated staff, volunteers and members  here at SLC of Charlotte, so we would like to share something about them with you every month.  
This month, we are featuring Susan Reynolds!

Susan is our resident astrologer, and one of our most popular teachers! Not only does she teach, she has also volunteered her time to our fund raisers by organizing volunteers, and our psychic fairs. She loves her work, and you will always find her with us on Sunday mornings!

Did you know Susan has been an astrologer, metaphysical teacher, and healer for the last 30 years?She is a karmic astrologer, yet she is also an intuitive, and does divination with Shustah cards. She is also schooled in the teachings of Edgar Cayce, and a member of the the Association of Research and Enlightenment (ARE).

FULL MOON on MARCH 12th, 2017 - 22° Virgo
                                                 
With a Full Moon in Virgo we have a wonderful opportunity to change old bad habits and bring in a new way of dealing with our health and well-being. Virgo is all about our health and so many of us (myself included) do not always take care of our body the way we should. I know I eat the wrong things and do not exercise enough (or at all). But now we can shift and let go of these destructive patterns and bring in habits that help us feel better physically. And when we feel better physically we feel better about ourselves on every level. If you work in the medical or healing professions then this Moon can be especially helpful for you.

NEW MOON MARCH 27th, 2017 - 2° Aries 

How appropriate we have the first sign of the zodiac as the sign of the New Moon. Double new beginnings. Aries loves being first in just about anything and here we are with a New Moon which signals new beginnings. The New Moon is a time when the Sun and Moon come together. It is a time of creation. We can use the three days after the New Moon as a power period. Take a moment to stop and think about what you want/need in your life that you do not currently have. This wish should be for you.
