At McNicholas High School, Mardi Gras is about welcoming the Lenten season and celebrating students who have committed themselves to selflessly serving their school and others. Seniors Jacob Fries and Christiane Hazzard were crowned the 2017 Mardi Gras king and queen at the yearly, traditional pageant held Sunday, Feb. 19. Click here to read more.

Avoid late fees--register for 2017-18 school year by February 28
Registration for the 2017-18 school year is due Tues., Feb. 28. Registration packets were mailed to all current families in January.  Information and links are also available on the McNicholas website by clicking here.

Scholarships for current McNicholas students

Friday Morning Mass
The Friday Morning Mass will take place on each of the Fridays of February before school at 7:00 am in the Chapel. All are invited and welcome to attend.


Spring Appalachian Service Trip


Seniors and faculty chaperones left for the spring Appalachia service trip on Tuesday afternoon. The students will build Christian community both among themselves and among the people of eastern Tennessee through service, shared prayer, and cultural immersion experiences.
Please pray for their safe travels and fulfilling experience.

McNicholas Theatre Department presents The World Goes 'Round

The McNicholas Theatre Department celebrates the music of Kander and Ebb when they present The World Goes 'Round. Tickets will be available online beginning next Tues., Feb. 21 for the following show times:

Thurs., March 2 at 7 p.m.
Fri., March 3 at 7:30 p.m.
Sat., March 4 at 7:30 p.m.
Fri., March 10 at 7:30 p.m.
Sat., March 11 at 7:30 p.m.
Sun., March 12 at 1 p.m.

Shake off the winter blahs with the annual McNicholas Military Memorial Dance on Sat., Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. Enjoy an evening of dancing, Split-the-Pot, auctions, raffles, and live entertainment from one of Cincinnati's premiere bands of music from the 60's, 70's and 80's, Haymarket Riot. Cash bar of beer, wine, and soft drinks. Tickets are $15 in advance, $25 per couple, or a table of 10 for $125. Proceeds benefit the Military Memorial Committee's student scholarships and the maintenance of the memorial. Support the McNicholas Rocket Band by adopting pig(s) in the Flying Pig Piggest Raffle Ever! From now until May 1st, adopt pigs for $5 each and enter to win $5,000 cash for yourself and for the band or one of two additional big prizes 100% of the adoption fees for each pig goes directly to the Rocket Band. Future Rockets and friends invited to the Middle School Dance
The McNicholas Band Boosters will host a Middle School Dance in the McNicholas Main Gym on Sat., Mar. 18 from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. Cost at the door is $5.  All 7th and 8th graders are invited to come join your friends and the McNicholas High School Band as they spin the music and host the fun. Chances to win gift cards will run all night long, and the concession stand will be open for purchasing drinks and snacks throughout the night. Contact   [email protected]  with questions.

Don't miss the 19th annual McNick at Night event on Saturday, March 11, at Norlyn Manor in Batavia. This event is our largest fundraiser, and it helps to support our school in many ways that tuition alone cannot cover. The evening includes an open bar, an elegant buffet dinner, games, silent and live auctions, and plenty of fun. The auction accounts for a significant portion of the event proceeds and is led by our own, Willy Corbett. Get a group of friends together! You won't want to miss this year's fun. Day of Giving tops $30,000

Thanks to everyone for making the McNicholas Day of Giving a huge success!  Nearly $32,000 was raised olast week to support tuition assistance.  Thanks to everyone who gave "For the Love of McNicholas!"

Winter sports advance in tournaments
Women's Basketball
vs. Indian Hill at Walnut Hills tonight at 7:30 pm.  Presale tickets are $6.00 in the athletic office.  Tickets are $7.00 at the gate.

Swimming
Nick Rosenbaum qualified to the state tournament in the 100 meter Butterfly.  Nick will swim tomorrow evening to try to advance to Friday's final.
 
Bowling
Noah Pasco & Anne Savage advanced to the District Bowling Tournament tomorrow at Beaver Vu lanes in Beavercreek.
 

Men's basketball
vs. Mt. Healthy this Saturday, Feb. 25 at Mason at 5:00 pm.  Presale tickets are $6.00 in the athletic office.  Tickets are $7.00 at the gate.
