A Message From Mr. Stoops

A very important week is rapidly approaching! Beginning March 6, all students in grades 1-7 will take the IOWA Assessments. Results from the assessment are used to provide teachers with instructional feedback and identify strengths/areas of growth. We consistently place in the top tier of all archdiocesan schools, and are very proud of our students and teachers for this accomplishment. This year, testing will occur each morning on March 6-10. Please avoid using these dates for family trips, appointments, or other occasions that would prevent your child from attending school.

God Bless!

Corey
Tuition Assistance

The Archdiocese's One Faith, One Hope, One Love campaign designated a significant portion of the funds raised to help families with Catholic School tuition assistance. The deadline for the first application period ended January 31st, and we just received notification that several families are receiving financial support! The second application period will remain active until  February 28. We ask anyone applying for financial aid for the coming year to apply through the Archdiocese program first. You will need your 2015 tax return information to complete the application. There is a place at the end of the application to explain if your family circumstances have changed since 2015 .   Attached are instructions  for how to complete the application.
Volunteer Training Session

A VIRTUS Training Session has been scheduled for Monday, February 27. The session will begin at 6:30pm in the Undercroft. You MUST pre-register online; if you are not pre-registered you will not be able to stay. No one under the age of 18 is permitted to attend and once the session begins no one will be permitted to enter, per Archdiocesan policy.

Just a reminder, if you miss more than 3 monthly bulletins, sent via email, you are considered non-compliant and cannot volunteer to work with children until you answer all missed bulletins! If you need to have a background check completed, call Rose Ann Miller at 624-8962, for a Fastrax token, which covers the cost. If you do not have a token it will cost you $25.

Register your rewards card online and select Guardian Angels as your beneficiary. You can search for GA or use our NPO number, 80200.
