FEATURED STUDENTS: Hilhi Ethics Bowl Participants
Hilhi sent four teams to compete in the recently-held Oregon High School Ethics Bowl at Portland State University. The Ethics Bowl promotes ethical awareness and the skills needed for a thoughtful, democratic citizenry by providing a format for students to present well-reasoned arguments in response to particularly tricky ethical situations. Hilhi Social Studies teacher and team advisor Kim Bliss was very proud of the students and their ability to think through and articulate their thoughts at a highly intellectual level during the competition.
