New Tools Are Coming to Build a
Better Girl Scouting Experience!

Over the past several years, Girl Scouts of the USA has been working toward developing shared tools and technology that will make the Girl Scouting experience more customer-centric and user-friendly for volunteers and parents. Imagine if girls and volunteers could join Girl Scouts with greater ease; if new volunteers could complete the process to become a leader in a matter of days instead of weeks or months; if troop leaders and parents could receive the support they need, when they need it. The new Customer Engagement Initiative (CEI) will make all that possible - and more. And it's coming to Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida this March.

For volunteers and parents, the heart of this system is the new digital resource called the Volunteer Toolkit. The toolkit will make it easier for leaders to manage their troops, prepare for and lead meetings, oversee troop finances, and connect with other volunteers. It will also streamline communications between troop leaders and parents, allowing them to share information about upcoming activities, girls' progress, scheduling, and more.

The best part is, the Volunteer Toolkit is accessible across electronic devices, including your smart phone, tablet, or computer, any time of day or night. It's always at your fingertips. Other councils that have already adopted this new system are reporting tremendous satisfaction with the Volunteer Toolkit and the benefits it provides. Watch the video below to see what other councils have to say.
The Volunteer Toolkit Goes Live!

Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing more details about the Volunteer Toolkit and how volunteers and parents will access it. We encourage you to watch your email and the council's website and Facebook page for updates and links to resources.
