LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- The Nevada System of Higher Education today launched a new online dashboard that allows members of the public to compare performance metrics of NSHE institutions to those of comparable colleges and universities.

"While this data has always been available, technology is helping us make it more transparent, discoverable, and accessible for our legislators and members of the public," said John V. White, NSHE chancellor.

The Peer Dashboards (https://www.nevada.edu/ir/ipeds_peers.php), which are in addition to several existing online data resources, allow users to compare seven of the eight NSHE institutions to five comparable institutions in the following categories: Awards Conferred, Fall Enrollment, Graduation Rate, Loan Recipients, Pell Grant Recipients, Persistence, Revenue Per FTE, and Student-to-Faculty Ratio.

Queries for the Desert Research Institute data set are still under construction. Peer institutions were selected by each NSHE institution.

Data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) was used to identify and track comparable institutions.
