Get to Know Your Committee Members:
Over the next few months we'll be introducing our new Zone 7 Committee Members! They are already working hard for the zone. Take a minute to get to know them, and stay tuned for more introductions!

Nancy Jones, Chair
Nancy, of Little Rock, Arkansas, has been involved in the sport for around 40 years as an owner who actively shows hunters and an "R" judge for hunters, hunter equitation, jumpers and hunter breeding. She wants to improve communication between members in the zone and the committee and also increase awareness about programs USHJA offers as a committee member. She also enjoys reading, traveling, needlepoint and shopping. If she could have dinner with any equestrian, she would choose Murray Kessler.

Joey Brumbaugh, Treasurer
Joey, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, is a trainer and "R" licensed judge for hunters, equitation and jumpers and also serves on the USHJA Officials Committee. As a committee member he wants to help with continuing growth and education in the zone. He enjoys running and real estate. If he could dine with any equestrian, he would choose Victor Hugo-Vidal because he knows it would be educational.

Matt Cyphert, Member
Matt, of Northlake, Texas, is a professional rider and trainer who has been in business from more than 20 years. As a committee member he hopes to make Zone 7 one of the strongest zones by being an active committee member and working hard outside of committee meetings to get things accomplished. In his spare time he enjoys golf. If he could have dinner with any equestrian, he would pick Michael Matz, his boyhood hero.

Stay tuned for more committee member introductions in next month's eNews. Click here for more information about the Zone 7 Committee.
