Creating a Sustainable Home Tips

1.  Nontoxic Household Products. There are now several natural options available in local stores and chains all over the country or you can even make your own at home such as using white vinegar to clean your windows and mirrors.

2.  Appliances. Smart appliances are not only more efficient but also have better designs.

3.  Composting. This will allow you to contribute less to landfills and be able to obtain a richer soil for your yard.

4. Landscape . Create your own vegetable or herbs garden if you have the space available or get some air purifying plants to improve the air quality in your home.

5. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Reducing your impact on the environment is probably the one that most struggle with. Weather stripping windows can save energy and reduce your heating and cooling bill. Try printing on both sides and fixing any broken items.
