Book Store Pricing Changes:

With decreased foot traffic through the Central Library, sales in The Library Store are also, unfortunately, lower than usual. In an attempt to offset this loss and continue to provide the same vital support to the library, we will be increasing the prices of some items. This is a decision that was not arrived at lightly.

Effective February 1, 2017 the price of used pocket paperbacks and romance novels will change to $1 each.

The price of used hardcover, trade paperback, and Children's books will remain the same.

We are aware that some customers will be unhappy with these changes. It is important to politely remind them of the following:

Proceeds from The Library Store benefit the Rochester Public Library, so each purchase helps the library expand their collections and services to the public.  
Information for Potential Volunteers

In an effort to better serve you, our current volunteers, we are temporarily putting a hold on volunteer recruitment. If anyone requests information, please tell them we are not accepting volunteer applications at this time.
