Regional program of improvements in
southwest
Warren County continues with work on the extension of Innovation Way

Initial phase of construction will begin Monday, January 30

As Ohio Department of Transportation crews get ready to begin major improvement work at I-71 & Western Row Road later this spring, the Warren County Transportation Improvement District (WCTID) continues its work to improve the local roadway network to bring safer travel to and from this key access point.

Work on the extension of Innovation Way (from Duke Boulevard to Socialville-Fosters Road) will begin this coming Monday, January 30, 2017.

Initial construction activities will include grading and clearing for the roadway, as well as demolition of the Clubhouse.

To ensure pedestrian and pet safety during this work, a construction fence will be erected approximately 400 feet north of the Clubhouse and parking area fronting Irwin-Simpson Road. A portion of the existing parking area also will be closed. The area south of the construction fence will remain open during this initial phase of work.

During construction, it is particularly important that pet owners observe posted signs requiring pets to be on a leash at all times.

We'll continue to send additional updates regarding upcoming work and construction impacts as work continues in this area.
