IPCF Reports Record-Breaking Annual Campaign
Thanks to many generous donors, IPCF closed its 2016 Annual Campaign with the largest total in its history - $43,475. Annual Campaign donations are used to fund IPCF General Grants (Education, Environment, Health and Wellness, and Youth) and to support the work of IPCF in building endowments and promoting community philanthropy. Distributions from several field of interest endowments are added to the money available for grants. IPCF to Award $200,000 in Grants in 2017

Thanks to the successful Annual Campaign, a generous gift from the Mirza Foundation, an anonymous gift to Youth Engaged in Philanthropy (YEP), donors to the Women to Women Giving Circle, and growth in endowments, IPCF will grant $200,000 in 2017, the largest amount awarded to date and a 10.5% increase from 2016. 2016 Celebrating Local Philanthropy Events

Over 230 guests attended the Celebrating Local Philanthropy Luncheon on November 15, 2016, at the Carol A. Reitan Conference Center in the Normal Marriott Hotel. Attendees heard from past grant recipients about the impact IPCF grants had on their ability to implement key programs at their organizations. IPCF Receives Recognition from AFP

The Association of Fundraising Professionals Central Illinois Chapter recognized IPCF as the 2016 Outstanding Philanthropic Foundation at its annual luncheon in East Peoria on November 9. IPCF received the recognition for its work to encourage philanthropy across all generations, in people with diverse backgrounds, and in both urban and rural areas.
