Wednesday Night Fellowship
On February 15th, we will continue to explore hobbies as a spiritual discipline that help calm our spirits and open us to God's presence. Our members, Pat Chaffin and Margaret Irvin, will be leading us in a pottery workshop that will extend to the following Wednesday to complete the projects.  Wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. This is an activity for all ages, and no previous pottery experience is required.  Please note that Peter Bynum's Deuteronomy Study will also meet.
Please remember to make your reservations by noon Monday.   Menu: spaghetti, fruit, salad, dessert.  Note: no separate kids menu will be served on this night.

Stop Hunger Now Event
Meal Packing Event
Sunday, February 26th
3:00 - 5:00 p.m . in Davis Hall
Come and spend time with your church family and participate in a fun, intergenerational, hands-on mission event suitable for all ages.  If you are a senior adult, a little younger adult..., a youth or a child, we have a job for you and we need your help. We need 40 to 50 volunteers to pack 10,152 meals during a two-hour packaging event.   The process is so refined that one volunteer can usually package 150 meals per hour.  For planning purposes it is helpful if you can let us know you plan to participate by February 20th.  However, if you plans change after this date, please come!
If you are called to help in a monetary way, the church is accepting donations to cover the cost of the meals we pack.  You can make a donation online or write a check payable to FPC and write "Stop Hunger Now" in the memo line.  We will also have a basket at the event.
