A Note from the President
|
Dear PPRA Members,
Happy New Year! It was a blast kicking off 2017 with many of you during our holiday party at the Little Lion! We have more networking events and educational programs ahead (check out the amazing line-up for our February media panel), so I look forward to seeing you again in the months to come.
January is the time for resolutions -- losing weight, achieving a better work-life balance, traveling more. For PPRA, it means a new look and exciting changes on the horizon to better serve you. Stay tuned for announcements about our updated logo and progress on a brand new website!
The new year also brings plenty of opportunities to celebrate our own. We're looking forward to announcing the 2017 inductee into the PPRA Hall of Fame. And we'll soon be recruiting nominations for the Fast-Track and Brodey Awards, giving us an opportunity to showcase promising young talent in our field.
There is much to look forward to this year with PPRA, and I hope you will be a part of it. If your New Year's resolution was to become more engaged outside of the office, we've got you covered! Join a committee, recruit new members, attend our events and programs, or volunteer to support the Career Wardrobe. There are so many ways to get involved.
Best,
Ashley Berke
2016-2017 President
Philadelphia Public Relations Association
