Littles and Lattes

DSAG is excited to offer a new program for our preschool age group. Littles and Lattes is designed to be a playgroup type setting for children with Ds (ages birth to 6 years) and their parents. Feel free to bring your own latte or enjoy the provided coffee. The first gathering will be on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 10 am, no RSVP is necessary. Thank you to First Baptist Concord's Helping Hands Ministry for providing the space for us to meet.

Join DSAG as we celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Day being March 21st! Race 3.21 takes you on two different paths! One path is a 3.21K or 2 miles jog or walk with a special VIP turnaround for a mile; while the other is a 3.21 Mile timed race.

Zoo Knoxville offers a variety of day camps throughout the year for kids of all ages and abilities. Camp activities include animal interactions, excursions through the zoo and trips behind-the-scenes to learn how we care for zoo animals. Registration for all camps opens for Zoo Knoxville annual passholders and Circle of Friends members on February 1 and opens to everyone on March 1, 2017.

Sunshine Ambassadors is happy to announce that classes have started back up for 2017!! Local areas include: Knoxville- Powell, Fountain City, and Farragut locations; Maryville, Morristown, Dandridge, and Lafollette. :) We are very excited to get back to dancing in 2017 and would love to have your family come and check out a class. We would love to welcome new dancers, volunteers, or instructors!!!

Scholarships Available for Adults with Ds
|
The O'Neill Tabani Enrichment Fund has awarded 130 grants for postsecondary education to students with Down syndrome since 2005.
The Ethan Saylor scholarship is designed to help give individuals with Down syndrome a way to pursue their own quests, regardless of any perceived limitations.
With the goal of supporting NDSS’ #DSWORKS® Campaign and to help other self-advocates pursue their dreams of entrepreneurship, Blake and his family have established the NDSS #DSWORKS® Blake Pyron Entrepreneurship Scholarship.
