The part of the trip that I remember most was touring the Fed's high security vault, 80 feet below street level beneath the bank's main office building downtown.

Peter Boehringer hates the word "conspiracy." It implies something crazy, and if you spend even a little time with the 45-year-old German, it becomes clear he's driven by a desire for order.
On a recent morning in Munich, he's dressed in a cobalt blue shirt that matches his blue tie and blue eyes. His black hair is cropped close above his receded hairline. In his gray Volkswagen minivan, the cup holder contains two identical water bottles, each filled to the same level.
At the end of a daylong interview, for which Boehringer has arranged an hour-by-hour itinerary, he sends a follow-up e-mail with a numbered summation of points he's made. No. 2 says that the crusade he's been waging for the last three years is simply about transparency. "Questions," he writes, "by definition cannot be 'conspiracy theories'."
Boehringer is a gold bug, a member of the impassioned tribe of investors and academics who distrust central banks and paper money, unless the governments that print it will exchange the cash for gold or silver from their vaults.

Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI) is working with Citi, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan on a second $1 billion bond issue for Iraq......Sources told Banker Middle East that a second tranche of a further $1 billion sovereign issuance by Iraq is likely to come to market before the end of the first quarter of 2017.
The five-year bond issued in January had a coupon of 2.149 per cent.
The Iraqi government is seeking to lower its international borrowing costs after the country was badly hit by the slump in oil prices. Iraq relies on oil exports for around 95 per cent of government revenues. .......

I find it very funny now how many so these so called intel "gurus" are only now jumping onboard the ship and coming to the reality that perhaps it is the final liberalization and the enactment of the reconciliation law effort waiting for the RV. This will give Iraq the STABILITY and SECURITY it needs to allow the CBI to implement the next phase of the currency reform that of the project to delete the zeros. Oh - but Mnt Goat has said this many times already over the past years. Did anyone listen? Are you listening now?
But hold on everyone! Again I tell you don't go off half-cocked there is still the problem with the Iranian influence. This issue has been the major reason Iraq is in this war with ISIS in the first place. This is the reason why it is so hard to have peace and security in Iraq. So when Abadi officially announces the "full" liberation of Iraq there will still be this lingering issue. So it is not over till it's over.
