Super Bowl Blues...
 Super Highlights

The football game was a heartbreak for us
Falcon fans but now that the dust has settled
WAIT 'TIL NEXT YEAR!
They had a great year and we are very
proud of this exciting team.

A tough question to answer

 ...is there anything
more exciting than seeing games like

Clemson vs Alabama
or
New England vs Atlanta
?

SUPER HIGHLIGHTS...
"ETERNAL" EXCITING HAPPENINGS THIS
Super Bowl
WEEK TOO-

1- MY FRIEND RAY...
invited me to meet a friend of his who has a military background in a very high level secretive position
...he is now battling a serious medical condition. We briefly met...I gave my one minute testimony, plus I gave him my
wristband,
Steps to Peace With God booklet, and a CD-
HOW TO HANDLE THE MOSQUITOES, ALLIGATORS, AND BOMBS IN YOUR LIFE...
I asked him if  he has ever said a prayer
like the one in "Steps..." he said he wasn't sure...So he prayed the prayer of salvation found in the booklet and dated the prayer. Ray and I signed our names as witnesses...
Thank you, Ray, for the opportunity to meet your friend and share my testimony on how I came to know Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord...thank you Lord for allowing all us to now  know he has eternal life

2- THE DEZ DICKERSON (PRINCE'S LEAD GUITARIST) OUTREACH BANQUET...
at the beautiful Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta ,GA area. 277 people came last Thursday to hear Dez give his testimony. Tudi had 11 ladies from the Ruth House (a drug and alcohol rehab resident facility for women) as her guests. We also had two other tables of high school students and other guests. It is the 3rd outreach banquet that is held approximately twice a year...totally underwritten and was the vision of my friend Brian. Immediate follow through is coordinated by
Dr. James of COTA and the table hosts

3- OUR CHURCH MISSIONS CONFERENCE...2 days prior to the conference we attended a prayer meeting of approximately 16 people to pray for the important meeting. I will never forget 2 different ladies sharing...!-a recent experience of witnessing to young people and 2-personal salvation
questioning and conviction in her own life...for me personally it gave me great hope that believers in America may not want status quo in their faith any longer...

The conference featured four ministries and the music from the Ladies of Lee University...One of the ministries was THE TIMOTHY HOUSE (a drug and alcohol rehab resident facility for men). My friend Wyatt and I ministered there every Friday
night for nearly a year. Michael, a former resident now, along with his wife, Jennifer are on staff. Michael gave a stirring, Christ-centered testimony...plus insightful comments from Jake, the facility Executive Director

4-  SATURDAY...
Tudi and I met Stephen and Ouida for lunch to discuss the details of their upcoming wedding in 2 weeks...I have the privilege of being the minister for their upcoming wedding...we had many details to discuss. As we were ordering lunch, our sharp, well spoken waiter was recommending various items on the menu. When he got to me I asked what his name was...he said TED! I congratulated him on his great name and told him I had something everyone named Ted should have... I gave my testimony by using my wristband...then handed him one. He seemed as though he truly appreciated the gift. I asked him if he had ever made a similar decision...Ted answered that he hadn't but needed to. I said "Would you like to right now?" He said yes and prayed the prayer in "Steps to Peace with God" at our table . He was also very appreciative. He lives close to a very good church- PERIMETER- and Stephen and I recommended he go there ASAP...Ted said he would!

5- LAST HIGHLIGHT OF THE Super Bowl WEEK...
Dick, a church friend of mine, recommended I listen to the Chaplain of the  U.S. Senate speak at the Presidential Prayer Breakfast
. I got Dick's message following the Super Bowl. Again, as an Atlanta Falcons fan I was still in shock following the game. However, I gave in to my spiritual needs and listened to the Chaplain's powerful message. Please do yourself a favor...listen to it closely...you'll be blessed. President Trump was!
MY PERSONAL HIGHLIGHT was POLITICAL CORRECTNESS again was defeated...last week's WB newsletter highlighted Vice President Mike Pence and his pro-life stand that defeated PC...This week my highlight is the Chaplain of the US Senate. Praise the Lord...there's growing HOPE!
Some leaders are standing up and being counted by proclaiming the name above all names.

ENCOURAGEMENT

How about you and me? I am convinced most believers are living unknowingly by political correctness...please take this simple test...

***IS THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST A PART OF YOUR NORMAL EVERY DAY VOCABULARY? WHY NOT??

NOT in a weird off the wall sort of way...but in the John 3:16 way...love people so much you give testimony of what He means to you...forgiveness of sins, life forever and a purpose for living

THEN...Political Correctness will be defeated by ordinary people like me and you...now that's SUPER!

SUPER BOWL BLUES...
Atlanta lost... most important thank you Falcons for a great season

SUPER HIGHLIGHTS...
by God's grace and His mercy the seeds were planted and salvation did occur!

P.S.
NOW BE HONEST...WHAT WERE THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN MOST EXCITED ABOUT DURING SUPER BOWL WEEK?!

"...THERE IS JOY IN THE PRESENSE OF GOD'S ANGELS OVER ONE SINNER WHO REPENTS"
Luke 15:10

"But whoever confesses Me before men, the Son of Man will also confess him before the angels of God"
Luke 12:8
