Blue Jay
FEBRUARY IS
MONTH
Join us for an organized
Heart Health Walk
on Monday, February 20
at
3 p.m.
Sarah Plentl, Health Promotion Chronic Disease Prevention Section Supervisor with Wake County Human Services will be on hand with information about managing women's heart health risk factors. Follow us on Facebook for more details!
Not available on the 20th or are you a Blue Jay regular?
Blue Jay's 1/2 mile Azalea Loop Trail (just inside the entrance gate) will be decked with red bows throughout February to remind us to be active--
to get at least 30 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity most days of the week. If you park in the Education Center parking lot by the flag pole, walk through the garden to the head of the Azalea Loop Trail, walk around the Azalea Loop twice (good footing with interesting changes of elevation along the way) and return to your car, you will have completed 30 minutes of exercise! Be sure to pick up a pink Heart Health flyer from the brochure rack at the
trail head.
