Daniella Faced Adulthood Alone

Daniella was placed in foster care at age 16 after her mother's drinking spiraled out of control. She didn't know if she should stay in long-term foster care and plan to age out or consider being adopted. Her advocate Marie helped Daniella by answering questions, serving as a resource and by never forgetting about her, even when CPS moved her to Oklahoma.

Read more about how Dallas CASA helped Daniella make critical decisions about her future on Dallas CASA's  blog.
Meet Dallas CASA volunteers Ashley and Shirley Dixon

Dallas CASA volunteers Ashley and Shirley Dixon share a bond that goes beyond advocating together - they are also grandmother and granddaughter. Ashley went through training to be a volunteer first, and her experience motivated her grandmother Shirley to dedicate her time to the children Dallas CASA serves as well. Read more about the Dixons on Dallas CASA's blog.

Thank you Angel Tree supporters!

Dallas CASA was able to provide gifts for more than 2,000 children this holiday season thanks to the tremendous support of our donors. For children in protective care, life is so uncertain and full of change they can't be sure Christmas is coming. But with the Holiday CASA Angel Tree Program, each child Dallas CASA serves was assured the holidays would be brighter.
Voices of Hope Giving Society

Dallas CASA is grateful to the inaugural members of the   Voices of Hope Giving Society,  which we hope will significantly broaden the base of individual and corporate donors who make it a practice to contribute annually. Voices of Hope will recognize individual donors who make annual gifts of $1,000 or more and corporate donors who make annual gifts of $5,000 or more to Dallas CASA through one-time or recurring gifts. It is our hope that this society will help us sustain our ability to serve every abused child who needs us year after year.
