Alumni Coordinator Todd Young Presents at ACA Conference

Alumni Coordinator and Class of 2009 Valedictorian Todd Young was excited to present alongside Lisa Brennan, Regional Coordinator of Volunteer Services for the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, at the American Correctional Association's 2017 Winter Conference in San Antonio, TX.

The audience at the session, titled "The Hudson Link Way to a 99% Success Rate", included delegates from across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, as well as three Corrections Officers from Sing Sing!

"I hadn't been on a plane in 32 years," Todd said, "but it was an honor to make the trip and share this important work."
Case Dropped Against Freed Hudson Link Alumnus
Hudson Link alumnus Johnny Hincapie was released after 25 years in prison when a judge overturned his original conviction in 2015 and ordered a new trial.

Johnny sat in limbo for the past two years until last week, when the Manhattan district attorney's office dropped the case against Hincapie and decided not retry him.

We are overjoyed for Johnny and his family and wish him the very best.
