Presidents Day is celebrated February 20th this year. George Washington's birthday, February 22nd, was a federal holiday since an Act of Congress in 1879.
In 1971 the Uniform Monday Holiday Act replaced Washington's birthday with the third Monday in February. Technically, Presidents Day is the continuation of the federal act marking Washington's birthday.

It is popular today to celebrate all Presidents on this holiday.

Flags Unlimited celebrates our patriotism and gratitude to all Presidents past and present, in serving our great nation.

   And.....Happy Birthday George!
