Storm Advisory - January 2017
Dear Storm'ers,

Storm the Trent season is just around the corner, and MAN are we ever looking forward to it!  The past few months of course design, website building, video production and concept planning have really gotten us pumped for this year's event, and we can't wait to get back to Warsaw to unveil all that we have in store for you!

Things are looking really good for Edition 16 of STT, and registration is already nearly half-full.  For those not yet signed up, don't forget that the next entry fee deadline is April 1st - it'll come up sooner than you think!  Canoe rental bookings are also starting to fill - particularly for the Saturday events.  Get your teammates together and sign up now at www.stormthetrent.com

Racer Information Packages 2017

Although not scheduled to release until February, we got a bit of a jump on the racer information packages for this year's event and have made them available for download now:

These kits are your complete A-to-Z guide to how Storm the Trent works - where to be; what the day's itinerary looks like; what to bring; and everything else that you need to know about Race Day.  More often than not, 100% of any questions you might have will have answers inside these documents, so please do make certain to have a read-through when you have a chance!

2017 Race Kit

Back by popular demand, we'll have Storm the Trent headgear for all racers this year!  These handy garments are guaranteed to be one of the most multi-functional pieces of kit you will own.  Use it as a toque, a neckwarmer, a bandana, a towel, a cloth (a snot-rag?)  Use it as you will, but know that you'll be getting a new one if you are racing on May 13-14!
Outward Bound - Our Charitable Partner

We are very pleased to once again be working with Outward Bound Canada in the hopes of adding to the nearly $30,000 raised over the last two years between our events and the Wilderness Traverse Adventure Race.

These funds support outdoor programming for those dealing with or recovering from personal trauma.  We'd like to ask each of our racers to consider taking up the OBC fundraising challenge, or even making a donation to the cause.  For more information, please visit www.stormthetrent.com/giveback.html

Intro to AR Training Clinic

Don't forget that on April 15th we'll be hosting another day of AR tips and tricks to help first-time participants make the most of their Race Day experience.  The registration fee is fully refundable, or may be applied towards your race entry.  Morning and afternoon sessions available, with a maximum number of 12 participants in each.  Have a look at www.stormthetrent.com/trainingclinics

Looking forward to seeing you again soon!
