Join Us for the National Trail Trek!
Join us for the City of Phoenix's 21st Annual National Trail Trek,which celebrates South Mountain's "National Trail", a historic and beautiful trail that stretches from Pima Canyon, located at the easternmost edge of the mountain, to the ridgeline at San Juan Lookout, which lies on the western edge of the park. The 15.5-mile hike will expose you to hundreds of variations of Sonoran desert flora. It also provides hikers with the chance to witness the abundant wildlife native to South Mountain and maybe even discover some of the ancient Hohokam petroglyphs that are hidden throughout the area.
