Priority Enrollment for 2017-18 |
Dear Salisbury Academy Parents:
While we mark the mid-point of this exciting school year, we are also looking ahead to the 2017-2018 school year with great anticipation. From academics, to the arts, to athletic achievements and service, Salisbury Academy continues to provide ways to inspire a love of learning.
I look forward to your child returning next year. Priority enrollment begins on January 17 and as part of our continuous enrollment process, your student will be automatically re-enrolled with the return of your enrollment deposit by February 14. With many of our classes at capacity and with wait pools, we encourage you to submit your re-enrollment fee by the deadline to secure your child's place for 2017-2018. Please look for details regarding our tuition structure and fees in your child's folder this week.
Thank you for your prompt review of this information and your response to this priority enrollment process. We greatly appreciate your support and trust, and look forward to our continued partnership in providing your child with a world-class education that builds curiosity, community and character.
Sincerely,
Beverly Fowler, Head of School

Thursday's chapel service took this month's virtue of courage and interpreted it through the powerful story of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his courageous efforts to lead the Civil Rights Movement.
Speaker Jesse Byrd, sports director for the Rowan YMCA, led the core virtue message by sharing a personal and heartfelt story of overcoming fear through courage in his own life. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s teachings were tied into Byrd's message as well as into the opening and closing songs for the chapel service: "Amazing Grace" - a key anthem of the Civil Rights Movement - and a tribute song to MLK titled "Something for Me, Something for You."
