Meet the Intern
The Chamber would like to introduce Alyssa Dettloff:

Hi! My name is Alyssa Dettloff, and I am a student at the University of Minnesota planning on graduating this December. I am majoring in professional journalism with a minor in communications studies! I am passionate about storytelling, and I hope to one day be a news broadcaster for a midmorning newscast. However, my ultimate goal/dream would be to work for the Ellen DeGeneres Show or E!News because I am just enthralled by popular culture, and I like to entertain people!

I also have an interest in doing corporate video storytelling for companies because I love to edit, shoot, write and produce videos that illuminate a company's strengths. In one of my social media marketing internships with Babu Social Networks, I have produced video content for Zerorez, which is when I realized I really enjoy producing video content.

I have an extensive background in social media marketing as I have been a social media planning intern with Babu Social Network for eight months and now at the Midway Chamber of Commerce. I am looking forward to working with the Chamber and implementing new ways via social media to improve the strong community and fellowship between the chamber and its members.

IT'S NOT TOO LATE
Silent Auction Items Needed

As an active and engaged business within our chamber, I am inviting  your organization to participate in the silent auction portion of our Annual Celebration. This yearly event helps raise funds to keep our Midway community strong, vibrant and growing.

This is an excellent opportunity for your business to partner with the Midway Chamber of Commerce by donating an auction item.  Every donation will be seen by local business and community leaders.

We will recognize our donors in the following ways:
  • Item listed on the electronic bidding site which will be seen seven days prior to and at the event
  •  Item displayed with business name at the event
  •  Recognition on the Midway Chamber of Commerce website.

It's EASY to donate an auction item.    Please fill out  THIS DONATION FORM and return it with your item by Friday, February 3, 2017. Feel free to contact me with any questions at
 651-646-2636  or beth@midwaychamber.com.

We are making good things happen with help from businesses like yours.
  We appreciate your generous support!
