Community Impact Programs & Highlights
Point In Time County - Project HOME
United Way of Saginaw County staff, homeless shelters and other local service providers successfully completed the county-wide "Point In Time" count of homeless persons, on Wednesday, January 25.
On Friday, January 28, United Way, along with The New Ezekiel Project, Saginaw Community Foundation and other influential local partners, brought the 2017 Great Lakes Bay Transportation Summit to action at Saginaw Valley State University.
We currently have 17 members helping engage local youth in STEM activities throughout Saginaw County. We are still looking for more AmeriCorps members to help increase our impact.
Free tax preparation is available to Saginaw County residents who cannot afford to pay to have their taxes prepared for them thanks to the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program and our amazing community volunteers.
For 2017 we have five returning sites and one NEW site.
Bronner's Hot Shot Local Media Celebrity Archery Contest
Jason Fielder, WNEM Sports Anchor/Reporter will be participating in this fun contest on behalf of United Way. Help cheer him on at 10:30 a.m. on
Friday, February 10 at Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland.
Jason will also receive 5 extra points for each person there in support of his cause!

Financial Stability
Join us on
