FAFSA Priority Deadline is THIS THURSDAY, December 1, 2016

Seeking Change Agents - National Conference on Race & Ethnicity/Iowa State Conference on Race & Ethnicity

Applications for the 2017-18 NCORE-ISCORE student cohort are open.  If you are interested in learning more about race and ethnicity and joining a long list of Iowa State change agents, consider applying.   As a participant in this year-long project, you travel to Fort Worth, Texas for the week-long conference this summer, take a course on the construction of race and ethnicity in the United States and present at ISCORE 2018 on campus.  Click the logo to learn more.  

 





Leadership Opportunities:
BCC Ambassadors 

In spring 2017, the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs will also be creating opportunities for student volunteering through the BCC Ambassador Program.   This program will be designed to provide opportunities for students to serve as liaisons between their peers and others in the ISU community who utilize the BCC facility during its hours of operation.  BCC Ambassadors will be expected to promote the utility of the facility through monthly programming that encourages diverse ideas, students' sense of belonging, collaboration and community building.  If you are interested in being a BCC Aambassador, please email  taforee@iastate.edu .

Scholarship Opportunities
Division of Student Affairs Scholarships - Due December 5, 2016
More than a dozen undergraduate scholarships for the 2017-18 academic year are available from the Division of Student Affairs. Each has an application deadline of Monday, Dec. 5.

Alliant Energy Erroll B. Davis, Jr. Achievement Award
This award recognizes academic achievement in business or engineering, leadership in campus and community organizations, and potential for future career success. Students at each of the three Iowa Regent universities - the University of Iowa, the University of Northern Iowa and Iowa State University - are eligible for this award.  Each undergraduate student selected to receive an award will receive a scholarship of up to $5,000.  Applications are due January 27, 2017.
