"God truly touched and changed hearts on this trip. Relationships were formed for eternity and most of all God was glorified in all that we said and did. We all as a team are eternally grateful for the opportunity that God allowed us to experience traveling to Nicaragua." Tracy LoAlbo Managua, January 2017 |
"One of my favorite moments of the trip was the day we had our final baseball game. The men had been waiting a few days to really play baseball because of the rain. Finally on the last day, we could play and they had a blast. After the game, John shared about Jesus while we all sat in the stands eating hot dogs and drinking coke. John told the men that all they had to do to accept Jesus was to say it and to pray for it and that he would pray for them right now and if they wanted to accept Jesus as their savior they could, right there in those stands. As John was explaining this, I looked up in the stands and there were three teenage boys who were also at the baseball game last year, as soon as John started to pray for them, they put their heads down so quickly, closed their eyes tight and clasped their hands together and prayed with John. You could tell that they wanted it so badly, that whatever John told them they had to do to accept Jesus, they were ready to do it.
It was awesome."

AREA: Thailand |
Thailand is the latest area to be added to our SALT list.
Last October, a small team of six people from Grace took a trip to Thailand to explore establishing a new mission partnership. As a result, we have scheduled our first SALT to Thailand for October 6-16, 2017.
The focus of the trip will be holding a camp to teach English, a skill that is highly desired and beneficial to the people of Thailand. Through this work, relationships can be established and the love of Christ shown to those who need to hear the good news. There will be more information forthcoming about this trip. It is available for sign-up on our web site at:
